The Academic and Audit Committee (AAC) is established at GEMS Arts and Science College to oversee and monitor academic affairs and conduct audits to ensure compliance with educational policies and standards.

Objectives

The primary objectives of the AAC at GEMS Arts and Science College are as follows:

• To ensure the quality and effectiveness of academic programs and activities.
• To oversee and evaluate curriculum development and implementation.
• To monitor the assessment and examination processes for fairness and transparency.
• To conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• To recommend improvements and enhancements in academic processes.
• To promote a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.

Composition of AAC

The AAC shall consist of the following members:

Functions and Responsibilities

The AAC shall perform the following functions and responsibilities:

• Encourage exploration and experimentation in teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with outside organisations for academic assessment and accreditation.
