BHARISHYA 2025- PEER TEACHING (PEER PLUS)

The Department of Travel and Tourism Management organized a peer-teaching programme titled “Bharishya 2025” as part of the Peer Teaching – Peer Plus initiative. The programme aimed to enhance collaborative learning, presentation skills, and subject understanding among students through peer-led instruction. The session focused on the topic “Advanced Technologies in the Tourism Industry.” The student presenters explained various emerging technologies that are transforming the tourism sector, including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, online booking platforms, smart tourism applications, and digital marketing tools. The presenters delivered the session confidently using simple explanations and relevant examples, making the topic easy to understand for fellow students. The peer teaching approach encouraged an interactive and engaging learning environment. Students actively participated in the session by asking questions and sharing their views on the application of technology in tourism. The discussion helped clarify doubts related to the practical use of advanced technologies in tourism operations and management. The programme successfully improved students’ awareness of technological advancements in the tourism industry. It also helped develop communication skills, teamwork, and confidence among the student presenters while promoting active learning among participants The Bharishya 2025 – Peer Teaching Programme was informative and effective in achieving its objectives. The initiative strengthened peer learning and enhanced students’ understanding of contemporary trends in tourism. The Department appreciates the efforts of the student presenters and the active participation of all students.
