SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME "HOW TO FACE AN INTERVIEW"
PG Department of Commerce conducted a skill development programme on "How to Face an Interview". The programme was held on March 5, 2019, at the college seminar hall. The session aimed to equip 70 participating students with essential skills and knowledge for successful job interviews. Mr. Shafeeq M C, SAP Consultant, served as the resource person. Mr. Shafeeq M C provided insights on interview preparation, resume writing, grooming, and body language. Interactive sessions allowed students to engage in discussions and receive practical advice on handling difficult questions and showcasing confidence. Mock interview sessions provided hands-on experience and valuable feedback for improvement. The programme proved highly beneficial, enhancing students' interview performance and employability. The college extends its gratitude to Mr. Shafeeq M C for his expertise and engagement in delivering a valuable session.

On January 01, 2019, the PG Department of Commerce organized a skill development programme on the topic "Team Work Makes Dream Works." The objective of this program was to enhance the participants' understanding of effective teamwork and its significance in achieving common goals. Mr. Mohamed Navas K, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Commerce, Gems arts & Science College was invited as the resource person to share his insights and knowledge on the subject. The event commenced at 10:30 am with the arrival of the participants and the resource person. He shared real-life examples and case studies that showcased the impact of effective collaboration on achieving organizational success. To encourage active participation and engagement, interactive sessions were organized throughout the programme.
