One Day Interactive WorkShop On Art Of Project Report Writing
PG Department of Commerce organised one day workshop on “Art of Project Writing” for final year B. Com & M. Com students. The session handled by Ms. Najma P (JRF holder & Research Scholar, Department of Commerce, PSMO College, Thirurangadi) on 5th January 2023, 09.30 AM to 12.30 PM, at Research & Innovative Centre. The workshop aimed to provide the stages and methods of writing a project report. The session commenced with a welcome speech by Mr. SIVAKUMAR K (HOD dept of commerce), Mr. Mohammed Niyaf c Assistant Professor, PG dept of commerce introduced the guest speaker. The resource person discussed different stages of project writing such as ‘topic selection, synopsis writing, theoretical frame work, questionnaire preparation, data collection and tabulation, report writing’ etc. Also interacted with final year M. Com students about project writing and NET/JRF examinations and preparations. Her vast knowledge and experience in the field of research was great help to the participants. All have acknowledged their gratitude and appreciations about her session. Around 125 participants including students and teachers joined on this session. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Irshad P Assistant professor, PG Dept of commerce.

DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS OF PROJECT REPORT PREPARATIONS
The PG Department of Commerce, Gems Arts, and Science College organized an Online live webinar on the topic “DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS OF PROJECT REPORT PREPARATIONS'' on 22nd September 2020, Tuesday from 2 pm to 3 pm. Apart from a good number of students, the program was attended by HOD Sivakumar sir and faculty members of the PG Department of Commerce. Distinguished speaker of the day, Mr. SIVAKUMAR A. ACMA, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Sree Neelakanta GOVT SANSKRIT COLLEGE, Pattambi. The program formally began with the welcome address delivered by Mr Sivakumar K, HOD, P.G Department of Commerce. He focused on the need for a project report and relevance and orientation before writing the project report. Distinguished speaker Mr. SIVAKUMAR A. ACMA, started the session by describing his own personal research experiences and he also shared his own ways to complete project reports in the best manner. He discussed different stages of project writing such as ‘topic selection, synopsis writing, theoretical framework, questionnaire preparation, data collection and tabulation, report writing’ etc. In the last session, he cleared the doubts and clarifications. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks given by Mr. Safvan K, Assistant Professor.
