The speaker of the 4th Chairman’s Lecture series was Dr.Hanumanthu Purushotham, DPIIT-IPR Chair, Andhra University Dr.Hanumanthu described Intellectual Property Rights and their relevance to current-day research. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are crucial for fostering innovation, driving economic growth, protecting consumer interests, and preserving cultural heritage. They provide a framework for individuals and organizations to benefit from their creative and innovative endeavors while encouraging collaboration and the transfer of technology. By upholding and respecting IPR, we create an environment that nurtures creativity, rewards innovation, and ensures the sustainable development of societies and economies. About 140 participants were there.
