The chief guest and the speaker for the foundry day was Prof. Dr. Prakash Babu, Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University who was formally felicitated by the Chairman as a mark of respect and appreciation for his presence and contribution to academia.The speaker was introduced by Dr. Nayana P, Research Officer highlighting his academic achievements, research contributions, and leadership in higher education. His inspiring talk motivated students and faculty members to strive for academic excellence, cultivate innovative thinking, and actively participate in the nation-building process.The event also witnessed the launch of the cover page of the journal “GEMS Nexus”, a journal of diverse disciplines, which aimed to publish the first digital issue in June/July 2026 .Along with the program, the program continued with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, during which several awards and recognitions were presented. Various honors, including the Best Outgoing Student (UG and PG) awards, Best Non-Teaching Staff Award, Best Housekeeping Staff Award, and Best Faculty Award, along with other special nominations, were conferred upon deserving students , staff members other categories staff members non teaching in recognition of their outstanding contributions and achievements in various areas In addition, the faculty members who represented the institution at the National Research Expo conducted by the Kerala State Higher Education Council were also felicitated for winning the Best Stall Award. The ceremony served as a platform to celebrate the accomplishments and dedication of the college community, inspiring students and staff alike to continue striving for excellence in academic, research, and professional endeavors. Sri. M. Vasudevan, Vice Chairman, who congratulated the institution on completing eighteen years of successful service in higher education and appreciated the efforts of faculty, students, and management in organizing the program.
