The speaker of the 3rd Chairman’s Lecture series was Dr.Asha Banu Soletti, Professor and Dean, TISS, Mumbai. Dr.Asha briefed on Mental health's importance in present society. Mental health disorders can manifest in various forms, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. These conditions not only affect individuals' daily functioning and quality of life but also place a significant burden on families, communities, and economies. Mental health is not simply the absence of mental illness but a state of well-being in which individuals can realize their full potential, cope with life's challenges, and contribute to society.
