AWARENESS IN NATIONAL DIGITAL LIBRARY
The reading empowerment committee has conducted a programme of online talk on the topic “Awareness in National Digital Library”, which was emphasized on the importance and need of digital library in this changing modern world. The programme was started sharp at 7:30 PM and successfully closed at 8:45. Dr. A.T Francis, The RTD University librarian from Kerala University was the chief guest and he delivered a beautiful, inspiring and innovative talk. The programme was conducted for all the teachers in GEMS College and after the session there was a discussion time also to make interaction with the chief gust. Mr. Subeesh from English Department gave the welcome speech, Mrs. Smitha , Chief Librarian introduced the guest and finally after the session Mrs. Seethal , Head of the department, Malayalam gave vote of thanks. About 50 above teachers were attended the programme and it was really influencing.

HONOURING RANK HOLDERS
Gems Arts and Science college organized an award ceremony for University rank holders to appreciate their hard work and dedication on 23rd September 2021. Principal Dr.Naveen Mohan delivered the welcome speech. Honourable Chairman Mr.Manjalamkuzhi Ali, MLA gave the memento for the First Rank holders Ms.Ibthisam, B.Sc Biotechnology and Ms.Hasna Hilal, BSc Microbiology. Vice Chairman Mr. Vasudevan, Director Board member Mr. Hamsa, Secretary Mr. Gopinathan, Entire staff of Biotechnology Dept and Microbiology Dept and HODs of every Department were present in the ceremony.
