Anti-Drug Awareness Program

An Anti-Drug Awareness Program was conducted on 3 June 2026 (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM in our institution with the objective of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and substance addiction.The program commenced with a welcome address, followed by an informative session highlighting the physical, mental, social, and economic consequences of drug and substance abuse. The resource person emphasized the importance of making responsible choices and resisting peer pressure. Students were made aware of the various dangers associated with drug addiction and its impact on individuals, families, and society. As part of the program, students actively participated in discussions and awareness activities. An Anti-Drug Awareness Pledge was administered, during which all participants pledged to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a healthy and drug-free society.As part of the ongoing Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign, students took a creative initiative to spread a powerful message through the traditional art of Rangoli. Moving beyond lectures and posters, the students used vibrant colors to depict the dangers of substance abuse and the beauty of a drug-free life.The program concluded with a vote of thanks. The session was highly informative and successful in promoting awareness and encouraging students to adopt a positive and healthy lifestyle.
