Seminar on Entrepreneurship Development "Turn Your Creativity into a Successful Business"

The Department of Multimedia, in association with the Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Club, organized a seminar on Entrepreneurship Development titled "Turn Your Creativity into a Successful Business" on 11th August 2026 at the MPN Hall. The programme was conducted with the objective of introducing students to entrepreneurship opportunities and encouraging them to explore creative skills as potential career and business ventures.

The session was led by Ms. Sameema Mol, Assistant Professor and ED Club Coordinator, GEMS ASC, who discussed the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and the importance of creativity, innovation, and business awareness. The session highlighted various opportunities available to Multimedia students to transform their creative skills into sustainable ventures, including freelancing, creative services, digital content production, and other entrepreneurial possibilities.

The resource person also emphasized the importance of identifying market opportunities, developing professional skills, understanding customer needs, and maintaining a growth-oriented approach while building a creative business. Students actively participated in the session and interacted with the resource person, sharing their ideas and clarifying their doubts regarding entrepreneurship and career opportunities.

The seminar was attended by 60 students from the second and third year B.A. Multimedia batches. The session provided students with practical perspectives on entrepreneurship and encouraged them to view their creative and technical abilities from a broader professional and business-oriented perspective.

Overall, the seminar was an informative and engaging session that encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career pathway and to consider new possibilities for applying their multimedia skills in the creative industry.
