RESEARCH METHODS IN GRAPHIC DESIGN IN ASSOCIATION WITH WESTBERG INTERNATIONAL

The Department of Multimedia, in association with Westberg International, organized a Seminar on Research Methodology titled “Research Methods in Graphic Design” on 16th December 2025 at the Multimedia Workstation. The seminar was conducted with the objective of introducing multimedia students to structured research practices and academic methodologies relevant to graphic design and allied creative disciplines.

The session was led by Ms. Athira, Multimedia Faculty, Westberg International, who served as the resource person. She provided a comprehensive overview of research methodology in the context of graphic design. Emphasis was placed on the importance of research in strengthening creative outcomes and academic writing.

The seminar was interactive in nature, with 32 students of the Department of Multimedia actively participating through discussions and queries. Overall, the program successfully enhanced students’ understanding of research-oriented thinking and its relevance in graphic design practice and higher studies.
