The Department of Multimedia, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), GEMS Arts and Science College (Autonomous), organized a One Day Workshop on “Advanced 3D Animation” on 18/12/2025 at the Multimedia Workstation. The workshop was organized with the objective of enhancing students’ technical knowledge and practical skills in advanced 3D animation techniques aligned with current industry standards.

The session was led by Mr. Ajith M P, Multimedia Analyst, who served as the resource person for the workshop. He delivered an in-depth, hands-on training session covering advanced concepts in 3D animation, including modeling workflows, texturing, lighting, animation principles, and rendering techniques. The resource person also shared industry insights, best practices, and career-oriented guidance relevant to aspiring multimedia professionals.

The workshop was attended by 31 students from 3rd year BA Multimedia (2023-26), who showed keen interest and active participation throughout the program. The interactive nature of the session significantly enhanced their understanding of advanced animation workflows and industry expectations.
