Extension Activity for Pain and Palliative Care Event- Video and Photography Coverage

The Department of Multimedia at GEMS Arts and Science College successfully conducted an extension activity by providing video and photography coverage for *Snehasparsham*, a pain and palliative patients’ gathering program organized by the Family Health Centre, Puzhakkattiri, under the Government of Kerala. The event took place on 18th February 2025,  from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. As part of this initiative, four second-year multimedia students actively participated in documenting the event, capturing both photographs and video footage to support media documentation. This activity provided the students with **valuable hands-on experience in real-world event coverage while also contributing to a socially responsible cause.The program aimed at extending care and emotional support to pain and palliative patients, highlighting the importance of community involvement in healthcare initiatives. The Department of Multimedia remains committed to utilizing media skills for social service and looks forward to more such collaborative efforts in the future.
