The PG Department of English Language and Literature, GEMS Arts and Science College (Autonomous), successfully conducted the Bhavishya-Peer Teaching Program on 23 January 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Room 403. The program was organized as part of the department's academic initiatives to promote peer learning and active student participation. The session was handled by Muhammed Shafi C.H, a postgraduate student of M.A. English Language and Literature.
The session, titled Gender Representation in Media, aimed to enhance collaborative learning, strengthen subject understanding, and develop teaching and communication skills among students. The peer teaching approach created an interactive learning environment where students actively engaged in discussions. The presenter demonstrated clarity, confidence, and effective subject knowledge, which helped in maintaining interest and encouraging meaningful academic interaction throughout the session.
