Seminar on “Shaping the Future with AI"

Seminar on “Shaping the Future with AI" was held at the CS Lab, GEMS Arts and Science College, Ramapuram, on December 11, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The session was organized by the Department of Computer Science, under the facilitation of Mr. Anoos Babu, Head of the Department, and was conducted by Mr. Fahal Salam, Senior Software Engineer and Technology Lead from Scanntek NEDZ Minds, Calicut.

The primary objective of this session was to introduce students and faculty to the potential and future applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The session aimed to provide insights into AI technologies, their current impact across various industries, and how they will shape the future of technology, business, and society. It also highlighted the importance of AI in the evolving landscape of computer science and its role in driving innovation.

The session included a practical demonstration of AI applications. Students were shown simple AI tools and platforms they can explore to start experimenting with AI on their own. Mr. Salam also encouraged students to focus on building skills in AI-related programming languages and frameworks.
