The Department of Computer Applications, in association with Sysbreeze Technologies Pvt Ltd, conducted a Hands-on Session on the topic “Python Programming” on 20th January 2026 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM. The session was held at the BCA Lab and was attended by students and faculty members of the department.
The programme was organized with the objective of enhancing students’ programming skills by providing foundational and practical knowledge of Python. The workshop aimed to bridge the gap between academic curriculum and industry requirements by exposing students to real-world applications of Python programming.
The workshop commenced with registration followed by an inaugural session. The resource person was introduced and the significance of Python as a versatile and widely used programming language was emphasized.
Ms. Keerthana delivered an insightful session covering both conceptual and practical aspects of Python programming. The programme focused on introducing Python basics, syntax, and core programming constructs such as variables, data types, operators, control statements, functions, modules, and basic data structures.
Hands-on sessions were conducted to enable students to practice coding and develop problem-solving skills. The resource person also provided an overview of Python libraries and highlighted career opportunities in Python development, thereby motivating students towards skill-oriented learning.
