AI for HR Interview and LinkedIn

An informative session on AI for HR Interview and LinkedIn was conducted for the BCA Final Year students in the BCA Lab from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM on 19/01/2026. The program was organized by the Department of Computer Applications with the objective of helping students understand the role of Artificial Intelligence in modern recruitment processes and professional networking.
The program began with a welcome address by Dr. Sandhya Balakrishnan, Head of the Department of Computer Applications. She warmly welcomed the resource person and the students and highlighted the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in recruitment and career development. She also emphasized the need for students to maintain a strong professional presence on platforms like LinkedIn.
The session was handled by Mr. Dileep M. B, Co-Founder of One Team, who served as the resource person. He delivered an engaging presentation explaining how Artificial Intelligence is increasingly used in HR interviews and recruitment processes. He shared insights on how companies use AI tools to screen resumes, analyze candidate profiles, and shortlist suitable candidates.
A major focus of the session was LinkedIn profile optimization. The resource person explained how students can build an effective and professional LinkedIn profile that attracts recruiters. He also discussed how AI-based tools help in personalized job matching, enabling candidates to find job opportunities that match their skills and interests.
In addition, the session highlighted how AI tools assist students in exploring various career paths and identifying skill gaps. The speaker encouraged students to continuously upgrade their technical and soft skills in order to stay competitive in the job market.
The session was interactive, with students actively participating and asking questions related to job searching, LinkedIn networking, and AI-based recruitment systems.
