WORKSHOP ON BIOSTATISTICS
PG Dept of Biotechnology conducted a workshop in association with IQAC on Biostatistics for MSc students. The instructors were Mr.Mohammed Ameen.K and Mr.Diwakar Badal from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The workshop was conducted as 2 sessions and included latest Biostatistical tools like SPSS, Data entry, Python etc.

PRESENTATION ON INSTRUMENTATION AND GENE ISOLATION
As part of ability enhancement course M.Sc Biotechnology students visited the firm “Amplicon” at KINFRA Kakkenchery and studied about DNA isolation technique and an online presentation was conducted on 22/12/2021 Wednesday. DNA isolation technique explained by Sreelakshmi.A and the instrumentation of DNA isolation taken by Athulya.A. PCR technique explained by Fasalul Farisa, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis and its instrumentation explained by Ramisha Khathoon and other instrumentation taken by Akshay sibi, Hidha Fathima and Khadheeja Sana.
