On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Department of Biotechnology organized a Seed Ball Preparation Programme to promote environmental conservation and afforestation. The programme was attended by Dr. Nayana P., Head of the Department, Dr. Deepthi V. C., Programme Coordinator, Ms. Ranjusha V. P., IQAC Director, faculty members Dr. Siji Mol, Ms. Rahila Sheena, Ms. Agnes, and Ms. Preetha P., Lab Assistant, along with the students of the department. As part of the programme, students actively prepared seed balls to create awareness about the importance of greenery and sustainable environmental practices. The prepared seed balls were handed over to Dr. Finose A., Vice Principal, and distributed among faculty members, students, and nearby households to spread the message of environmental protection. The programme was successfully completed with the enthusiastic participation of students and faculty members, serving as a meaningful initiative to inspire environmental responsibility and promote a greener future.
