As part of the World Environment Day Celebration 2026, the PG Department of General Biotechnology organized "Agathavanam Clean Up Drive 2026" on 5 June 2026 at 10:00 a.m onwards. The programme was conducted under the theme "Weed, Clean, Heal" to promote environmental conservation and cleanliness. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Nayana P., Head of the Department of General Biotechnology. The clean-up drive was carried out in the Agathavanam area of the college campus with the active participation of faculty members and students. Participants removed weeds, collected waste materials, and cleaned the surroundings to restore the natural environment. The activity created awareness about environmental protection, campus sustainability, and biodiversity conservation. The programme concluded successfully, reinforcing the message that collective efforts can create a cleaner and greener environment.
