Soft Skills and Personality Development
PG Department of social work and sociology conducted a skill development Programme for social work and sociology students. The topic was based on soft skill and personality development. Soft skills are non-technical skills that relate to how you work. They include how you interact with colleagues, how you solve problems, and how you manage your work. Soft skills and personality development are integral for personal and professional growth. Soft skills encompass communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving, enabling effective collaboration and conflict resolution. Cultivating these skills boosts interpersonal interactions and career prospects. Personality development involves enhancing traits like self-confidence, emotional intelligence, and resilience. This leads to better self-awareness and social interactions. Continuous practice through workshops, mentorship, and real-world experiences hones these skills. Overall, a balanced combination of soft skills and personality development empowers individuals to thrive in diverse environments, fostering success, satisfaction, and well-rounded personal growth. It was very informative session and it creates to understand them about their skills and capacities of them. The sessions were taken by Mr. Arun K (Head of the Department) and 28 students were participated in this session.
