The PG Department of Commerce conducted a skill development program titled "Workshop on Preparation of Final Accounts-Online" on 12th January 2021. The workshop aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and understanding of final account preparation, a crucial aspect of financial reporting. The workshop was held online, with 60 students participating in the session. The resource person for the program was ABDUL JABBAR, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Commerce, with expertise in the field. The workshop commenced at 10:00 AM and lasted for the scheduled duration. During the workshop, participants were introduced to the purpose and significance of final accounts. They were guided through the various components of final accounts, including the trading account, profit and loss account, and balance sheet. Practical techniques for preparing final accounts were shared, accompanied by real-life case studies and examples. The workshop encouraged active participation and engagement from the attendees.
