DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS OF PROJECT REPORT PREPARATIONS
The PG Department of Commerce, Gems Arts, and Science College organized an Online live webinar on the topic “DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS OF PROJECT REPORT PREPARATIONS'' on 22nd September 2020, Tuesday from 2 pm to 3 pm. Apart from a good number of students, the program was attended by HOD Sivakumar sir and faculty members of the PG Department of Commerce. Distinguished speaker of the day, Mr. SIVAKUMAR A. ACMA, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Sree Neelakanta GOVT SANSKRIT COLLEGE, Pattambi. The program formally began with the welcome address delivered by Mr Sivakumar K, HOD, P.G Department of Commerce. He focused on the need for a project report and relevance and orientation before writing the project report. Distinguished speaker Mr. SIVAKUMAR A. ACMA, started the session by describing his own personal research experiences and he also shared his own ways to complete project reports in the best manner. He discussed different stages of project writing such as ‘topic selection, synopsis writing, theoretical framework, questionnaire preparation, data collection and tabulation, report writing’ etc. In the last session, he cleared the doubts and clarifications. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks given by Mr. Safvan K, Assistant Professor.

Research Methodology & Hands On Training On SPSS
The PG Department of Commerce, GEMS Arts, and Science College Ramapuram, in association with IQAC, organized a one-day seminar on “Research methodology & hands-on training on SPSS” on 1st December 2022. The program started at 10:00 a.m. with a silent prayer in the presence of program coordinators Rinsha and Nasrin. Mr. Sivakumar - HOD formally welcomed all dignitaries on the dais -program trainer Mr. Mohammed Nabeel K, Vice Principals Prof. Mohammed Ashraf M, Mr. Mohamed Navas K, and all the students. Opening remarks and an introduction to the program were given by Prof. Mohammed Ashraf . Programme trainer Mohammed Nabeel K (PhD Research Scholar, School of Commerce, Bharathiar University) delivered a lecture on SPSS. SPSS is a comprehensive and flexible statistical analysis and data management solution. It can take data from almost any file and use it to generate tabulated reports, charts, and plots of distributions and trends, descriptive statistics, and conduct complex statistical analyses. He well explained SPSS in a very understandable manner. Twenty-five students of M Com participated in the program.
