SURVEY ON ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS

PG Department of social work and sociology conducted an environmental survey as part of MSW second semester curriculum at Attapadi Palakkad district on 06/12/2019 to 08/12/2019. 43 students were participated in this visit. it was conducted to understand the potential impact of environmental factors on real estate and construction developments and conversely the impact that real estate and construction developments will have on the environment. The students offer information to decision makers concerning matters that may be brought about as a result of decisions relating to a new project, program, plan or policy and also create awareness about the use of natural resources. The trainees collected lot of information from the public to know the resources around him and make an action plan about how to use the resources effectively. The major objectives of the program were to maintain an ecological balance in our planet's natural environment and conserve natural resources to support the wellbeing of current and future generations.
