NILAMBUR FLOOD CLEANING

The NSS unit of Gems College undertook a remarkable initiative that demonstrated both resilience and community spirit by cleaning and rebuilding the shops that had been devastated by floods in Nilambur on 13th august 2019. Under the capable leadership of the NSS program officer and with the dedicated efforts of approximately 20 volunteers, this endeavor showcased the unit's commitment to not only service but also to making a tangible impact on the lives of those affected by the disaster. The aftermath of the floods left the town of Nilambur grappling with destruction and despair. However, the NSS unit of Gems College didn't just stand idly by. They rallied together, recognizing the urgent need for action.
