Webinar On Scope of Bioprocess Technology
PG Dept of Biotechnology and IQAC conducted a live webinar on the topic Scope of Bioprocess technology on 16-08-2021. Guest speaker was Mr. Godhan. T. K, Research scholar at CSIR-NIIST, Trivandrum.The session was anchored by Ms. Niranjana, S5 Bsc Biotechnology. The programme started with the welcome speech by Mrs. Shinsy. P, HOD, Dept of Biotechnology. Introduction of the guest was done by Mrs. Ranjusha. V. P, Assistant Professor, Biotechnology.The speaker discussed about various industrial applications of Bioprocess technology.The interactive session was healthy and through this session students explored the possibilities of becoming a Biotechnologist. The webinar was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Abdul samad. C, Assistant Professor, Biotechnology.

Entrepreneurship Development Club in association with IQAC conducted a webinar on Entrepreneurial Orientation Programme for new members on 02.08.2021 at 2 PM. ED club coordinator Mr. Ajeesh.T welcomed all the persons into the programme. Dr. Naveen Mohan, Principal ,GEMS Arts and Science College inaugurated the session.He shared so many things with the students including an old dream to start an automobile workshop. The orientation programme handled by Mr. Sivaprakash, ED National Faculty Member and Assistant professor of Khidmath Arts and Science College, Thirunavaya. He started his speech with the story of a man who sold his personal properties to become a gems trader. And he stated that the real gems are within us , the only thing we have to do is to realise them. He mentioned - who is an entrepreneur, who should be an entrepreneur, qualities of an entrepreneur, entrepreneurial motives, different activities that can be conducted under ED club to develop the young entrepreneurs- in his speech. Mr. Umair Kallingal , a second semester BA Multimedia student delivered vote of thanks.
