This is a student oriented club that seeks to create and promote an entrepreneurship culture by working in close association with Kerala Startup Mission, and other student associations like Innovation Centre. It also develop entrepreneurial qualities in students and shall provide common facilities to students working on start-ups.Mr.Mohammed Asgar Ali C is the nodal officer from the college Organized ENTREPRENUERSHIP SKILL WORKSHOP at AREEKODE Feb 2018 The Objectives of workshop was to make students aware about start-up and entrepreneurship, to encourage and motivate them for entrepreneurship, which will boost their inner urge for becoming self-employed in future, to be job creator rather than job seeker. Workshop provided students aware about entrepreneurial practices going on in corporate world that would be shared by young entrepreneurs and trainer. Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) summit organized in November, Gathering was arranged at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally , the third edition of the summit was a one-of-its-kind initiative planned with the objective of accelerating aspiring entrepreneurs. As many as 4,000 participants from 210 colleges were attended the event. one of Asia’s biggest gatherings of startup aspirants looking to convert ideas into market-fit products. Conceived as a bridge for budding entrepreneurs to bridge the gap between ideation and execution, the meet served as a miniature incubator to enable them to walk in with an idea and walk out with a product. DRONE, ROBOTICS MAKING WORKSHOP programme conducted in November 2019 for students.90 students participated the programme. This workshop got a high reach among colleges inside and outside district. And explored the chances of robotics technology, 3D Printing and Drone making. TWO DAY WORKSHOP ON ‘DESIGN THINKING’ in association with ICT Academy of Kerala and Kerala Start up Mission organized a 2 days’ workshop for aspiring students startup. 60 Students attended the workshop at Gems Arts and Science College, Trainer was Sony Bronzon, ALLON Training and Consulting In association with ICT Academy of Kerala, Kerala startup mission The workshop made a high impact on students for the career making plans, The students are grouped into teams and that makes them to get the experience of working in an company and to acquire the leadership skills. VINYL CUTTING AND SCREEN PRINTING WORKSHOP organized at Gems arts and science College Auditorium in jan 2019 .65 students participated at the workshop IEDC AIMAT Aluva students conducted a training workshop on Vinyl Cutting and screen printing The objective of the training workshop was to encourage students to learn and apply the techniques of the Screen printing on their product developments.The idea enabled students to express their imagination through surface mediums.The workshop had given them hand ons explorations using various techniques. ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM organized in August 2019 at GEMS COLLEGE SEMINAR HALLThe Resourse person: SONU, Former IEDC coordinator, IEDC AIMAT, ALUVA 50 participants attended the workshop .Entrepreneurship development programme was a programme meant to develop entrepreneurial abilities among the people. It helped the students to make a concrete base in the ED, that taught them all the sides of the business and its environment. The concept of entrepreneurship development programme involves equipping a person with the required skills and knowledge needed for starting and running the enterprise. EDP is an effective way to develop entrepreneurs which can help in accelerating the pace of socio -economic development, balanced regional growth, and exploitation of locally available resources.
