A webinar session on the topic of “DIGITAL MARKETING”has been conducted by the department of management studies in association with ILT(internetleadstraining.com) on 8th February 2021 through Google Meet by including staffs and students of the department. The session was presided by Mr. ABDUL KHADER V (Head of the Department), started at 10:40 AM with the welcome note of Mr Afsal MP (Assistant Professor). The session continued by the resource person Mr. Jitto Jose upto 11:50 AM. It was an informative and a kind of interactive session with students.

Department of Travel and Tourism observed National Tourism day 2021. Mr. Dennison Joseph ( Director : Ventureworx) presented a webinar on the topic “Sharing Travel Experiences and Career Prospects in Tourism Industry” on 25th January 2021, Monday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. The theme of National Tourism Day 2021 was “Dekho Apna Desh”.Owing to the deadly coronavirus, tourism was deeply impacted by the lockdown which was implemented in the country to curb COVID-19’s rampant spread. National Tourism Day is celebrated to cultivate and create awareness on the significance of tourism, and its social, political, economic, and cultural value. Each and every region in the country has a rich history attached to it that is commemorated in various ways. Tourism is the best way to highlight it all. Along with this, people are educated about the role it plays in the country. The program began with the welcoming note by Mr. Saju Devasia, Head of the Department of BTTM. He further introduced the speaker and handed over the session to Mr. Dennsion Joseph. From the webinar, the participants had the opportunity to have first hand travel experiences along with the tricks and tactics while conducting a tour program. In addition, participants gained recent career prospects in tourism industry. A question and answer session was handled to allow participants to get their doubts clarified. Ms. Haritha B, teaching faculty of BTTM, took the privilege of winding up the session by proposing the Vote of Thanks.
