PRESENTATION SERIES ON BIOINSTRUMENTATION
The presentation series was conducted on two consecutive Saturdays, namely 23-09-21 and 30-09-21, through the online platform Google Meet. The series was organized and coordinated by Resna N K, Assistant Professor in Microbiology, PG Department of Microbiology. The purpose of the presentations was to provide an opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge and understanding of various topics related to microbiology. The National Cancer Awareness Day Celebration was organized on 7th November 2021 to raise awareness about cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. The event focused on an online quiz contest, which aimed to educate participants about various aspects of cancer. Ms. Resna N K, Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Microbiology, efficiently coordinated the event. Certificates were awarded to participants who scored 75% marks or higher in the quiz. The highlight of the National Cancer Awareness Day Celebration was an online quiz contest. This interactive activity engaged participants in a knowledge-based competition, testing their understanding of cancer-related topics. The quiz encompassed various aspects, including risk factors, prevention strategies, early detection methods, treatment options, and supportive care for cancer patients. Participants were required to answer a series of multiple-choice questions within a specific time limit.Ms. Resna N K, an Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Microbiology, took charge of coordinating the National Cancer Awareness Day Celebration.
