Real-world Math Explorations
The Department of Mathematics recently organized an industrial visit to Vagamon for the 2017-20 batch of mathematics students. The visit took place over a span of two days, from November 24th to November 25th, 2018. The purpose of the visit was to provide the students with practical exposure to the applications of mathematics in real-world settings. A total of 24 participants, including 2 female faculty members and 1 male faculty member, joined the visit. The group embarked on an enriching journey to explore the practical applications of mathematics in various industries and domains. The trip aimed to enhance the students' understanding of how mathematical concepts and theories are implemented in real-life scenarios. The Department of Mathematics is committed to organizing such educational trips and experiences to provide its students with well-rounded learning opportunities. The industrial visit to Vagamon was a success, thanks to the active participation of the students, the guidance of the faculty members, and the support of the department.
