On 5th January 2019, in commemoration of Mathematics Day, a poster making competition was organized by Department of Mathematics at Seminar Hall. The competition aimed to celebrate the significance of Mathematics in our daily lives and promote its beauty through creative expression The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of Mathematics Department. The theme of the competition was chosen to emphasize that mathematics is not just about numbers and equations but it is also an art form that shapes our world. Participants were encouraged to showcase their interpretation of this theme through their posters. The posters exhibited a wide range of creativity and originality. Participants used vibrant colours, intricate designs and imaginary concepts to convey their messages about the beauty of mathematics. Some common elements featured in the posters included mathematical symbols, equations, geometric shapes and illustrations depicting real life applications of Mathematics.
