CHALLENGE TO CHANGE
On October 5th, 2021, the Department of Mathematics in association with IQAC organized a motivation class for first semester B.Sc. mathematics students called "Challenge to Change." The session was conducted over Google Meet and started at 10:30 am. The resource person for the session was Niyaf, who is an Assistant Professor. The aim of the session was to motivate the students and inspire them to take on challenges in their academic and personal lives. The session likely covered topics such as goal setting, time management, and self-discipline. Overall, the motivation class provided valuable insights and strategies for students to succeed in their academic journey. There were total of 22 participants were there.

Happiness IS Math
On October 7th, 2021, the Department of Mathematics in association with IQAC conducted an orientation session named "Happiness is Math" for first-semester B.Sc. Mathematics students. The session was held virtually on Google Meet at 03:30 PM. The resource person for the session was Jesna Nalakath, who is a Certified Expert in Counselling Psychology, Accenta Founder, and Life Skill Trainer. There were total of 20 participants were there The purpose of the orientation session was to help students understand the importance of mathematics in their daily lives and to promote positive thinking and emotional well-being. The session focused on how mathematics can be used to develop positive attitudes and habits, such as goal setting, problem-solving, and decision-making. So this session acted as a career guidance. Overall, the "Happiness is Math" orientation session was a beneficial and informative experience for first-semester B.Sc. Mathematics students. It provided them with valuable insights into the role of mathematics in promoting emotional well-being and helped them develop a positive attitude towards the subject.
