Fundamentals Of Intellectual Property Rights
Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC, has conducted Webinar on “Fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights” for the students of Management studies and also for the Colleges who are already made MoU with Department of Management Studies viz. Malabar College of Advanced Studies Vengara, MES Arts and Science College Malapparamba, St.Mary’s College Puthanangadi & Safa College of Arts and Science, Pookkattiri, through Google meet on 26.05.2023 at 2pm to 3.30pm. In the webinar altogether 100 students attended. The Resource person was Mr. Abhijith. B, Assistant Professor, School of Law, UPES, Dehradun. The session was quite enjoyed by the students and they well understood the concept of intellectual property rights. The speaker has given many examples to the students and also highlighted its relevance in the present economic and competitive era of environment and this made them imbibe the concept easily. Participation of students from the above colleges was also an added point to note here.

Investor Education Program(IEP), On BSE Capital Market awareness
Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC, has conducted an Investor Education Program (IEP) on behalf of BSE on Capital Market, Introduction to Mutual Fund and Financial Planning for 3rd and 5th semester students of Management Studies on 27.07.2022 at our Rooftop Auditorium. The Resource person was Mr. Venugopal, Senior Associate of Lotus Knowlwealth (LKW). 52 students attended the session. The entire session was mainly related to the workings of the capital market, detailed descriptions regarding mutual funds, and also discussed the importance of financial planning. Students actively participated in the program and at the end of the session, they clarified their doubts about the topic. It was a wonderful experience for the students because they got an opportunity to know the practical side of the capital market. The session was conducted with many examples and group activities.
