Data Collection & Its Relevance In Project Study
Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC, has conducted a research-oriented seminar on “DATA COLLECTION AND ITS RELEVANCE IN PROJECT STUDY” for the BBA second semester students at our Library and Research Centre on 17.05.2023 at 10am. The Resource person was Ms. Haritha Viswanath, Assistant Professor, Department of Management studies, GEMS Arts and Science College. 26 students participated in the seminar. Even though we circulated about above class and expressed our wish to take part in the class among the colleges with whom Department of Management Studies entered in to MoU viz - Malabar College of Advanced Studies Vengara, MES Arts and Science College Malapparamba, St.Mary’s College Puthanangadi & Safa College of Arts and Science Pookkattiri, the students from these colleges could not attend in the class due to their pre occupied academic engagements/preparations. Participants actively participated in the seminar and they opined that it was an informative session and would enable them for their ensuing project study. There was a question & answer session for the students to clear their queries. The session ended by 12 pm. Submitted for kind information. Student’s participation list is also attached.

Challenges Faced By Young Entrepreneurs
Department of Management Studies, in association with IQAC, has conducted a webinar on “Challenges Faced by Young Entrepreneurs” for the students of the Department of Management Studies at the Google Meet platform on 22.05.2023 from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. The Resource person was Ms. Nasiya K P, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Commerce, GEMS Arts and Science College. There were 43 participants attended the webinar. The session clearly discussed various challenges faced by young entrepreneurs and how to overcome them. Students have shown a high level of interest in the topic from the start to the end. Some of the students raised doubts regarding the topic and it made the session very useful.
