Student induction programme
Resolved to conduct a student orientation programme in Association with student induction Programme (Dheeksharamb). Purpose of Student Induction Programme is to help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self exploration.. Session was oraganised by PG Department of English language and literature and Session was coordinated by Mr.Anand C. Introduced importance of English Language to the new aspirants of English literature. Programme conducted on 24th June 2019 at 11:30 to 1:00 pm . Mr Anand C covered all the aspects of English language as means of communication as well as the lingua franka of universe and added language is defined as a tool of communication between human beings in a particular community. On the other hand, literature is also a communicative channel between author and audience.The session winded up after an interactive session of all the students and teachers of English Department. More than 40 students attended the session.

Introduced importance of English Language to the new aspirants of English literature. He Students majoring in English literature spend their time reading, analyzing, and writing about a wide range of texts in the English language. English literature teaches students many of the skills that are in high demand in today's workforce.Programme conducted on 26th June 2018 at 11:30 to 1:00 pm . Mr Vijayesh Babu covered all the aspects of English language as means of communication as well as the lingua franka of universe. The session winded up after an interactive session of all the students and teachers of English Department.
