"BIO-UDYAMA 2023" Enterpreneurial opportunities in Biotechnology
On 28th April 2023, a webinar on "Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Biotechnology '' was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Club (ED Club) and department of general biotechnology at GEMS College of Arts and Science, located in Malappuram, Kerala. The webinar aimed to provide insights into the various entrepreneurial opportunities available in the field of biotechnology. The resource person for the webinar was Mr. Ajeesh T, the Convenor of the ED Club at GEMS College. The webinar witnessed active participation from faculty members and students specializing in Biotechnology from GEMS College of Arts and Science. The participants showed enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about the entrepreneurial aspects of the biotechnology industry. The webinar commenced at 09:30 AM, with Mr. Ajeesh T welcoming all the attendees and introducing the topic. He began by highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship in the biotechnology sector and its potential to drive innovation and economic growth. The session provided the faculty members and Biotechnology students with a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial aspects of the biotechnology industry. It inspired the participants to explore the diverse opportunities available and encouraged them to consider entrepreneurship as a career path in the field of biotechnology. The session concluded with Mr. Ajeesh T expressing his gratitude to all the participants for their active involvement and emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and innovation in the ever-evolving biotechnology sector. Overall, the webinar successfully achieved its objectives of enlightening and motivating the participants to explore entrepreneurial ventures in the field of biotechnology. About 22 participants were present for the session.
